INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: LAURAMINE OXIDE

INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: lauramine oxide is derived from coconuts & we use it in place of sodium lauryl sulfate in commercial cleaners. its a surfactant, which is just a fancy way of saying that it lifts dirt, debris & germs off of your surfaces in a way that plain ole liquid can’t. while other green alternatives to SLS (e.g. castile soap ) undoubtedly clean well, it isn’t without excessive bubbles & a lot of rinsing required. lauramine oxide does a great job of staying down & wiping clean without leaving any residue. bonus—it is also clear and nearly odorless! you can find it in our all-purpose surface tonic and our crystal clear for glass & mirrors at virenapothecary.com & let us know if it lives up to the hype✨
